Introduction.
DALIT SANGH is a voluntary organisation formed as a forum for getting unheard voices to the system and
as a carrier of grievances and plights to the system and as a forum to minimize the atrocities meted out on
Dalits on the pretext of age old tradition of casteism. These people include i.e. the SCs, the STs, the denotified & nomadic tribes, and tribal communities like Korkus and Bharias which even after the passage of 6 decades of India winning the statue of being independent still living on the edge and are even today hunters and gatherers. We are working for Women Empowerment, Child education and welfare, we are working for differently abled people (handicapped), child labour and the socially deprived and poorest of poor; through - Advocacy, Giving Voices to them and raising the issues and concerns to system and on social platform as well through print and electronic media regularly. Needless to mention that our endeavors are synergized with other important issues like propagation of formal and non-formal education, awareness about adolescent health, hygiene, making womenfolk aware on life skills and getting them to know about contagious diseases including Aids and issues related to sanitation in Madhya Pradesh as well as Bihar State through its unit in Samastipur.
