TRAINING PROGRAMMES CONDUCTED BY DALIT SANGH:

Dalit Adhikar Abhiyans (DAA): In pursuance of program objectives taken up by the Sangh a number of capacity building and confidence building programmes and training sessions were organized. Major items being among them are as under:-

Under this program various activites with the sole objective of securing equality for all the people trampled for ages, and addressing issues pertaining to low castes of society for districts of Hoshangabad and Harda were undertaken in their 150 villages with the assistance of Action Aid. Major activities under the program were - raising issues related to dalit rights, land right issues for dalits, creating an amicable environment by using administrative and legal tools as well as ushering in a mindset change for securing entries of Dalit people to public places like

Organization of Bal Melas:

Under the Dalit Adhikar Abhiyan Bal Melas at schools were organized to sensitize children as to how they can do away the ill practices of unsociability through various methods like Games, Poetry, Songs, and amusing sport activities, open debate competitions, special classes for leadership development etc
